Suspension Rebuild

What is a rebuild? Rebuild is servicing the suspension components. Much like servicing your air filter and oil, its the same idea with your suspension components. This is a critical step in keeping the bike feeling fresh as well as keeping suspension components from pre maturely wearing or needing costly replacements such as a shock body. We typically recommend a 20-40 hour service interval for most forms of riding. MX and SX produce the most abuse and usually require a lower hour window for service.

TURN AROUND TIME

Typical turnaround times is roughly 5 business days. Times can vary drastically and we do recommend calling ahead to get the latest turnaround times. 

RETURN SHIPPING

AHM Factory Services can ship your parts back as freight on passenger planes if time is of great concern.

HOW TO BOX IT UP

Thoroughly clean and dry all the components. Use a sharpie or similar marker to write your name and phone # on the fork legs and shock body, wrap them in a plastic bag and seal the bag with tape. We recommend you ship your suspension in a gun case; these can be found for as low $40. If this is not possible use a sturdy cardboard box and wrap each unit in bubble wrap. Note: we do not recommend using Styrofoam peanuts as these shift in the package allowing the parts to move and can cause damage.
